John S. Whittington
John S. Whittington grew up near Columbus Indiana. He is the
vice-president of Grammer Industries. Grammer specializes in
the safe transportation of a variety of hazardous materials
including; anhydrous ammonia, propane, nitric acid and
compressed gases. John also holds the position of President
and CEO of Vickery Transportation another trucking company.
Vickery transports liquid hazardous waste for safe treatment and
disposal.
Mr. Whittington’s latest project is Integrity Biofuels, Central
Indiana’s first Soy Biodiesel Plant located in Morristown, just
east of Indianapolis. This production facility uses soybean oil
as its primary feed stock to be converted into Biodiesel. The
process incorporates the latest technology and automation to
produce some of the finest quality biodiesel fuel in the United
States. As co-owner and vice president of Integrity Biofuels
John is doing his part toward helping America become energy
Independent.
Mr. Whittington graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Purdue
University in Agricultural Business Management in 1996.
Mr. Whittington is active as a member
of the American Trucking Associations (ATA), National Truck
Carriers, and the National Biodiesel Board. He is currently the
Vice Chairman of the Agricultural Food Transporters Conference
of the ATA. |
